Yogyakarta, October 22, 2025 — The Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held the Postgraduate Graduation Ceremony for the First Academic Period of 2025/2026 on Wednesday (10/22) at the Kamarijani Soenjoto Auditorium.
A total of 37 postgraduate graduates were honored at the ceremony, including 22 graduates from the Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology (TPHP). Of these, 16 completed the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology, and 6 graduated from the Doctoral Program in Food Science.

In her remarks, Prof. Eni Harmayani, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, emphasized the importance of transforming knowledge into meaningful innovation. “Knowledge should serve as intellectual capital that drives innovation in the food sector. Stay humble, keep learning, and adapt continuously,” she said. “Low profile, high competence — that is the character we hope every UGM graduate will uphold.”
The event also recognized outstanding achievements among the graduates. Ranto Jambi Muhammad Subekti, M.Sc. (Master’s in Food Science and Technology) received the Fastest Study Completion award, finishing in just 1 year, 10 months, and 5 days. Adelia Maharani Bramadita, M.Sc. was recognized as the Youngest Graduate at 23 years old, while Dr. Zulman Efendi (Doctoral in Food Science) was noted as the Oldest Graduate at 48 years old—demonstrating that the pursuit of knowledge knows no age limit.
Representing the graduates, Dr. Novian Wely Asmoro (Doctoral in Food Science) expressed gratitude to the faculty, staff, and families for their unwavering support throughout the academic journey. “As UGM graduates, we are ready to stand at the forefront of global challenges and build meaningful collaborations that benefit society,” he said.
In closing, a representative of the graduates’ families—also an alumnus of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology—conveyed heartfelt appreciation to the faculty and staff for their dedication to mentoring future generations. “We are grateful to be part of the UGM community. Thank you for paving the way for us to contribute to the advancement of the food sector,” they shared.

More than a ceremonial milestone, the event marked the beginning of a new journey for TPHP UGM graduates — one that calls them to lead innovation, promote sustainability, and make a meaningful impact in the global food industry.
