The Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology (TPHP) at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) organized the final exam for the Seminar course, modelled after a scientific conference, on Friday, May 23, 2025. All undergraduate students of TPHP attended the event, which was conducted through English-language oral presentations, resembling the format of an actual scientific conference.
The conference was held in parallel sessions across several rooms in the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, specifically rooms 384, 383, 357A, and 357B. The activity was coordinated by the course instructors: Dr.nat.techn. FMC Sigit Setyabudi, S.T.P., M.P., Yunika Mayangsari, S.Si., M.Biotech., Ph.D., Dr. Qurrotul A’yun, S.T.P., M.Sc., and Intan Dewi Larasati, S.T.P., M.Sc.
The event officially began with a general lecture session featuring four selected students as keynote speakers: Marcella Evelyn Gunadi, Briliana Nazah, Meileen Huang, and Dreismarthea Aponno. This session was held in Room 384 of FTP UGM. After the opening session, student participants proceeded with individual presentations in the assigned parallel sessions.
As a closing, all participants reconvened in Room 384 for the final session, during which the best participants were announced. The awards presented were as follows:

Through this activity, students were not only assessed on their ability to compose and present research results systematically, but also gained first-hand experience in the atmosphere of a scientific conference. This learning experience will be a valuable preparation for students to participate in future seminars, conferences, or similar academic activities.
