The Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FTP UGM) held its Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony on Wednesday (25/02) at the Kamarijani Soenjoto Auditorium. In this commencement period, the Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology (TPHP) conferred degrees on nine graduates—seven women and two men.

The ceremony was attended by the Dean of FTP UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Eni Harmayani, M.Sc., who delivered congratulatory remarks to the graduating class. In her message, she reflected on the many joys, challenges, and sacrifices that shape an academic journey, and encouraged graduates to remain lifelong learners—continuing to grow, contribute, and serve through their chosen fields.
Congratulations were also extended by representatives of the Student Executive Board (BEM) and the Agricultural Technology Alumni Association (KAGAMA TP). Both conveyed their hopes that FTP graduates will continue to develop their capabilities, uphold integrity, and translate their expertise into meaningful contributions within their professional communities. They also expressed warm wishes for the graduates’ continued success and for their work to bring tangible benefit to society.
During this commencement period, Evelyn Gabriella Suliantoro, a TPHP graduate, was named the Faculty of Agricultural Technology’s Best Graduate, earning a GPA of 3.91, completing her studies in 3 years and 5 months, and receiving graduation honors (cum laude). Representing the graduating class,
Evelyn delivered a commencement address that underscored the importance of support from many parties—faculty members, staff, education support personnel, parents, and fellow students—throughout the academic journey. She closed with a reflective message to her peers: “When your steps feel heavy and you’re not sure which direction to take, it’s okay to pause and kneel in prayer. For the future is real, and your hope will never be lost.”
The Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology extends its heartfelt congratulations to all graduates. May they carry forward the values of integrity, continue to grow as lifelong learners, and bring impactful work and contributions to the wider community.
