The Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology (TPHP), Universitas Gadjah Mada, graduated five students from the Master’s Program in Food Science and Technology at the Postgraduate Graduation Ceremony for Period II of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. Among the graduates, Amirah Ulfah, S.T.P., M.Sc., was named the Best Graduate, achieving an outstanding Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.90.
The graduation ceremony was attended by the Dean and Vice Deans of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP), as well as the Heads of the Food Science and Technology and Plantation Product Technology study programs. In his address, the Dean of FTP emphasized the importance of graduates carrying the identity and values of FTP into their professional careers, demonstrating good attitude, upholding integrity, and contributing to the advancement of education and technology in the field of food science.
The event concluded with a Sambung Rasa (sharing session), moderated by Rachma Wikandari, Ph.D., which provided an opportunity for graduates to share their reflections and experiences during their master’s studies at FTP UGM. A representative from the Food Science and Technology program expressed appreciation for the strong academic support, including guidance for a student exchange program to Spain and continuous mental and moral support from faculty members.
In addition, the graduates highlighted FTP UGM’s social concern and support for students, including assistance and donations provided during the flood disaster in Aceh, the hometown of one of the graduates. Parents of the graduates also conveyed their gratitude to the lecturers, academic staff, and the entire FTP UGM academic community for the support, facilities, and nurturing academic environment that enabled students to gain valuable experiences and successfully complete their master’s education with satisfying results.
