KMTPHP (Family of Food Technology and Agricultural Products Students)
The Food and Agricultural Products Technology Student Family (KMTPHP), founded on May 2, 1986, is one of the internal campus institutions of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, which plays an active role as a means of organizational learning. KMTPHP is synonymous with the maroon corsa color which the members always wear every Thursday.
The management of the KMTPHP in 2023 has the cabinet name “Batyantara” which means the strong common property of all time. With this meaning, KMTPHP 2023 has a goal to become a strong shared family unit for the TPHP community throughout its management.
The vision of KMTPHP is the realization that moves actively and synergistically, both internally and externally, by prioritizing professionalism and upholding kinship.
To realize this vision, we have several missions, namely:
- Fostering a sense of kinship and a sense of belonging to KMTPHP
- Strengthening internal relations of all members of KMTPHP
- To accommodate all members of KMTPHP in developing their potential talents and interests to become creative and successful human resources
- Maintain good relations and communication with alumnae and outsiders
- Conduct community service programs as a form of KMTPHP’s active role in the community
The management structure of the KMTPHP consists of a leader, secretaries, treasurers, 5 departments, and 2 bureaus. The departments and bureaus include:
- The Department of Academic Professionalism, in general, has a role in developing work and academic professionalism within the scope of TPHP. The PA department’s work programs are playing with PA (sharing industrial apprenticeship experience), PATalk, a question bank, odd and even semester tutors, and job preparation.
- The Department of Talents and Interests (BAKMI) is engaged in developing the talents and interests of members, both in the field of food and agricultural products and in other fields. The work programs of the BAKMI department are Foodblast (cooking competition between generations), bakmi movie (watching movies with KMTPHP members as a refreshing event), and sports art week/wisdom day (sports and art competition activities between TPHP generations)
- The Press and Information Department is the KMTPHP information center, providing opinions based on studies on policies and issues concerning food. The PI department’s work programs are Foodescribe magazines, KMTPHP activity albums, food journalism week, and food posters.
- The Department of Careers and Business has a program to become a center for information and career development, a source of funds for institutions, and a means of learning entrepreneurship. The work programs of the KU department are MSME visits, entrepreneurship contests, procurement of merchandise and corps of the generation, and entrepreneurship.
- The External Network Department has a role in building the image of KMTPHP, establishing good relations with internal and external FTP institutions, and being an information center about TPHP. The JE department’s work programs are university visits, department visits, yearbooks, high school expos, and faculty fairs.
- The HMPPI Bureau (Indonesian Food Concern Student Association) has a work program that concentrates on the food sector and is incorporated into the regional HMPPI. The HMPPI Bureau work program is commemorating days related to food, HMPPI regional and national meetings, food seminars, and assisted villages that develop goat milk products.
Bureau of Cadreization and Family Observers, who maintain internal harmony and the KMTPHP cadre system. The work program of the KPK bureau is GASIK (makrab), staff tracking, KMTPHP Expo, open recruitment, social gathering, member appreciation, and appreciation night.
