Department of Food and Agricultural Products Technology has one Bachelor Study Program (Food Technology and Agricultural Products), two Masters Study Programs (Food Science and Technology and Estate Crop Product Technology), and one Doctoral Study Program (Food Science).
In the future, the Department of Food and Agricultural Products Technology will face many challenges with a competitive dynamic environment, increasing globalization, and rapid technological changes in industry 4.0.
To anticipate future challenges, the Department of Food and Agricultural Products Technology combines the potential possessed by human resources under five laboratories and other facilities, to produce quality educational programs that can equip graduates with competencies so they can compete at the global level. It is also accompanied by international cooperation with various leading institutions, such as Chalmers University in Sweden (2014), Prince of Songkla University in Thailand (2017), Yamagata University in Japan (2019), University of Boras in Sweden (2019), University of Cadiz in Spain (2019), and Khon Kaen University in Thailand (2020).
In the future, the Department of Food and Agricultural Products Technology is expected to increase its reputation as a benchmark for the development of academic traditions at the regional, national, and international levels. In addition, the Department of Food and Agricultural Products Technology also plays a role as a reformer in the development of science through the implementation of the Tri Dharma of universities based on Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka.
