Library
To support student learning activities, the Library of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FAT) at UGM provides a wide range of resources, including textbooks, national and international journals, proceedings, undergraduate theses, and graduate dissertations, totaling over 20,000 titles. Students, lecturers, and staff at FAT UGM are automatically registered as library members. However, to access all available facilities, a Library Membership Card is required. This card can be obtained by registering at the Circulation Desk of the FAT UGM Library with a completed registration form and two 2 x 3 cm passport photos.
In addition to the faculty library, students can also access the services of the UGM Main Library, located near the rectorate building. The Main Library holds more than 400,000 printed collections and over 80,000 digital resources, including e-journals, e-books, and e-proceedings. These electronic collections are freely accessible through various databases subscribed to by UGM, such as Science Direct, ACS Publications, ProQuest, Scopus, and Wiley Online-Ebooks.
To enhance user services, UGM implements an open access borrowing system, allowing visitors to directly select and borrow library materials. Moreover, an online catalog (OPAC) is available at opac.lib.ugm.ac.id, providing a convenient way for users to search collections by author, title, or subject.
