The Department of Food and Agricultural Product Technology (TPHP), Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, once again celebrated its postgraduate graduation ceremony. The event was held on Thursday, April 23rd 2026 with total of 22 graduates successfully completed their studies, consisting of 16 students from the Master’s Program in Food Technology Science and 6 students from the Master’s Program in Agricultural Product Technology. In his remarks, the Dean of FTP UGM congratulated all graduates and expressed hope that the knowledge they gained would bring benefits and blessings to society. He also emphasized the importance of perseverance in facing future challenges.
In this graduation period, the youngest graduate was Tamanda Sekar Setyani from the Master’s Program in Food Technology Science, graduating at the age of 24 years, 1 month, and 5 days with a GPA of 3.77. This achievement reflects the dedication and commitment of students in completing their postgraduate studies successfully.

During the sharing session, the representative of the Master’s Program in Agricultural Product Technology, Indah Kusuma Putri, shared that she gained many practical experiences related to plantation commodities and their applications in industry throughout her studies. She also had the opportunity to participate in a student exchange program at the Universidad de Málaga, Spain, which provided valuable academic and international cultural experiences.
On the same occasion, Indah suggested that FTP UGM provide a comfortable coworking space equipped with adequate power outlets to support students in studying and working collaboratively. Responding to this suggestion, Mrs. Hanim, representing FTP UGM, explained that the faculty plans to establish a coworking space on the rooftop of the Postgraduate Building starting next semester.
